Not meant to be !!!!!!!

Just thought id pop in and say " i failed" meant to start blogging again but it did not happen , life has a way of leading u in the directions u are meant to go , i am an avid google reader and have all of my fav blogs there , "why" because its easy , i get up in the morning,  get my coffee and attend to my emails then into google reader i go , there i see what u are all up to and i love reading and learning from u , seems im more a reader than a writer , so hope that explains why my blog is so sad and alone, im still hoping one day i will wake up and say to myself its time to blog but till then know that im spending time with u all each day and love and admire u all....

Thank u all for making my day start in a special way...

im going to try again , blogging that is...

I started blogging when it first started way back when and it kept falling by the wayside, not enough hours in the day , too many blogs to visit on my google reader , too many art materials to try , too many people to keep up with via emails , too many classes to take , have several going at the moment and just signed up for another one this morning with Kelly Kilmer , doing the Strathmore classes, 21 Secrets, thats just to name a few ...im addicted to classes , art supplies, art journaling , painting  and google reader, the computer in general ...im awaiting the arrival of my IPad, so that will also become another addiction , ummm i think i may have an addictive personality .....anyway lets see if i can keep up the blogging , dont think it will be daily just when the mood strikes or something exciting happens or my muse visits.....nearly bought this little guy but resisted the temptation , dont know how , really dont , hes the cutest thing ...

Digital Painting / Angelica my way

this is a digital watercolour painting i did last year ive always admired Angelica Huston shes a strong woman and i like strong women they pave the way for us , there are so many of them too many to list , ive not been doing any digital work lately but thought id add this just to show u a sample of my work ...im using traditional media a lot now and loving it , fingers always inky and clothes stained he he , more of my work to come and im also into journaling and loving it its motivating me to just express myself and enjoy ....

goodbye to a sweet sweet friend...

i have lost a dear friend a furbaby his name was Jett he had been sick for a while now and i nursed him and his med's worked for a while and gave him some relief but it got to the stage that i knew they were no longer helping him , he was 12 years old and he and his brother Nike gave me many years of total joy and love , little Nike keeps looking for his mate and its heartbreaking to see...

Jett was a cross shiz shu a lovely little boy, not a mean bone in his body, loved everyone and was a pleasure , even the lady who used to clip him said he was the best of all the dogs she clipped , he would even start to go to sleep while she was using the shaver on him lol just layed there bless him , he used to snore too so loud lol

well the time was here ,so i took him to the vet and as usual he just layed still while the vet put the canula into his foot , then the vet gave him a liver treat ( he loved them) and then the injection, he had his head in my arms and just went to sleep , knowing no different it was so nice to see he just nodded off and all his pain was gone.

At christmas he would let my niece Tyler May dress him up and   he would sit on her bed , even let her dress him like a girl lol he was so easy going nothing bothered him , now he is up with all the other angels and running free , god bless u little man and i miss u

Do you have the Weirdo Syndrome .....

i have just read a post  and it was written for me lol its me to a tee, do u remember high school when all u wanted was to fit in , but what u had to give up to do it , i do , but after having my 2 girls and being a mother of school age children, i realized i had to be there for them , to speak up and to guide and to tell them that not being one of the cool kids was ok to be themselves lol oh the memories it bought back lol so it was then i decided that if i was preaching that to them i had to do it myself , so i did , i have only ever had about 5 true friends that took me for who i was and that was ok , there were toxic people around me pulling me down, so out they went , who needs negative people around pretending to be friends while using u for their own means , ok that sounds unkind but we must be true to ourselves first and foremost , so after reading this post i realized i had done the right thing and i was not alone , not the only weirdo out there he he oh what joy to find it, so please off u go to read it and please return and let me know if u are a weirdo too ....

Australian Natives / Watercolour

Heres one of my first watercolour paintings from a class with my teacher Margaret Towler she teaches classes from her home at Buff Point on the Central Coast she gave me lots of help with this and im quite happy with it , i still find that watercolour is a challenge i get to a certain point and then feel a block so thats when Margaret 

saves the day shes been doing it for years and she is an excellent painter and porceline artist ...
